Today’s card is for the Global Design Project #050 | Sketch Challenge. Initially I didn’t know what I was going to create but I had the Moroccan Designer Series Paper sitting out on my desk and after a bit of playing around I came up with this card. I think this paper totally lends itself to a masculine card and with Father’s Day on the 4th of September it is perfect timing.Once again I’ve used the Alphabet Labeler and the Balloon Builders stamp sets. The Burlap ribbon has had a little modification – I heated it with my heat tool so the nylon threads running through it shrunk and closed up the gaps.
I also used the new In Colour Enamel Shapes in Dapper Denim in the bottom right hand corner of my card – these enamel shapes are so cute and come in hearts, stars and two circle sizes.
I hope all the dads out there have a great day on the 4th – not doubt spoilt with chocolate and socks (well in our house anyway)!
Take care and enjoy the rest of your week – Angela x
