Welcome Every Occasion!

Welcome Every Occasion to the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP037! This week’s challenge is a colour one and coincidentally my card for last week’s challenge included Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe! Clearly I love these colours!

I decided to use my new “Every Occasion” stamp set from the new Stampin’ Up!® catalogue (available from 1 June) and team it up with the retiring “Happy Notes” stamp set.IMG_20160528_113016_wm

Aren’t the houses cute? There are images in the “Every Occasion” stamp set for everything – it’s not called Every Occasion for nothing! Ha ha!20160528_092501_wm-1_wm

To give my card a bit of a lift I cut out three of the houses, created opening windows and added Dimensionals to them!20160528_094006_wmThe Every Occasion stamp set is very versatile and Sandra Collett showcased some cards  at On Stage using this set including two where she had altered the stamps that she didn’t think she’d use. The pumpkin became a poppy and the Hanukkah lamp was trimmed to become half a circle. Aren’t these cards amazing?Altered(1).jpgFootball has been cancelled today due to all the rain we’ve been having so I’ve got some unexpected time in my craft room – yay! Have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by and see you soon – Angela x
